Rosewater is a small mare-led stud that breeds, produces, leases and sells quality sports ponies for children. We cater for all disciplines for those aspiring to FEI level competition as well as top class working hunters and competition ponies.

At Rosewater we strongly believe that our ponies should be 'simple to do', easy to maintain and happy to be managed by their child riders. Temperament is therefore of prime importance and we consider this at all stages and levels.

Our ponies are truly selected for children so that they can be enjoyed without too much adult intervention in the day-to-day management process.

Rosewater is performance led. We believe that successful performance comes from careful breeding for aptitude and temperament, combined with a thorough and basic training.

Our breeding policy combines the best of the British Natives and the European Warmbloods to create ponies with the ability to compete at National and International level.

Our training and production is in association with Liz Diegutis, a former British Young Rider and talented trainer of young riders and juniors.

The Stud

Homestead Farm is set in the rolling Hampshire countryside near Stockbridge, in a beautiful, peaceful location. We are fortunate enough to have direct access to bridleways and rights of ways.

All our stabling is within American style barns with a separate barn for foaling mares and young stock. These boxes have direct access onto covered yards.

We have an International size menage and our indoor school should be 'up and running' within the next year.

Livery

We can offer full, part and training and breaking livery. Currently costs are:

Full Livery £119.00 per week
Part Livery £87.50 per week
Part-part Livery £63.00 per week
Training Livery: Price depends on agreed schedule training/work plan. Please enquire for further information.

All liveries exclude: Feed supplements, farrier and vet.
