Rosie is now a 5 year old National BD Pony Champion on a massive score of 85.4, beating both the 4 year olds and the six year olds. She has also qualified for the summer regionals and the Hickstead Masters.
Rosy's blood lines are impeccable. Her grand dam (Domina) was German National Champion and is full sister to the great Dressman (World No. 1). Her sire is the leading young German sire FS Don't Worry. Four out of the top eight in the 2004 Bundeschampionat 3 year old stallions are by FS Don't Worry, while two out of the top seven mares were also by him.
Rosy came directly from the breeder of Dressman following her success as a champion mare at the Westfalen mare grading.
We backed her in January 2004 and she was reserve four year old ridden pony champion in June of the same year. She is being brought on slowly, with lots of hacking and other fun events and will be aimed at the five year old National Title in 2005.
Rosy has the most amazing temperament, being a real 'people's pony' ! She is most striking not only because of her big yet elegant paces but due to her most unusual colour for which we have yet to find a name!
